Dear Members, We are happy to invite you to the AIOM 2025 Update Days, which will be held in Catania on 30 and 31 January at the Giancarlo De Carlo Auditorium of the Benedictine Monastery of San Nicolò l’Arena of the University of Catania, Piazza Dante Alighieri 32.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to send, by December 15, 2024, the title and the abstract of maximum 1000 characters to aiom2025catania@gmail.com. If of interest to the Authors, they may submit the article in full for publication in a “Special Issue” of the journal Coastal and Offshore Science and Engineering. The deadline for submission of works is June 31, 2025.

AIOM AWARDS

Also this year, a prize and a check of 400 euros will be awarded to the best Master’s thesis discussed in the years 2023 – 2024. The thesis must be sent to aiom2025catania@gmail.com by December 15, 2024. As usual, the AIOM prize and a check of 700 euros will be awarded to the best Doctoral thesis discussed in the years 2021-2024. The Doctoral thesis must be sent, by December 15, 2024, to aiom2025catania@gmail.com. In addition, the AIOM prize will be awarded for the best project completed in the three-year period 2021-2024. The project description (maximum 5 pages) must be sent to aiom2025catania@gmail.com by December 15, 2024.

PARTICIPATION

Registration is carried out by completing the registration form available at the following link.

The payment of the fee includes:

• participation in the work,
• access to coffee breaks/lunch,
• the renewal of the 2025 membership fee or the new AIOM member registration fee.

AIOM2025 participation fee and 2025 membership fee:

• after December 15th: €250
• AIOM members (AIOM Milan participants): €200
• PIANC members, MareAmico, PhD students, students: €200
• single day, after December 15th: €170
